PUSH THE BILL PACKAGE THROUGH COMMITTEE
The PA Coalition for Trans Youth has worked with lawmakers to introduce a package of FOUR bills to the education committee! We need your help to get the committee to hold a hearing on these bills. Contact the chair of the committee, Representative Peter Schweyer, and encourage him to hold a hearing on these four bills:

HB 1999
HB 2024

Hello Representative Schweyer,
I am a resident of Pennsylvania and I believe in safe & equal schools for all students. I’d like to see house bills 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2024 be introduced for a hearing by the education committee. The safety and equal treatment of our students is imperative for them to strive for success in their educations. It’s urgent that we pass legislation to protect our children during this time of uncertainty. Please consider expediting the process to hold a hearing on these four bills so that we might better support kids in Pennsylvania.
